South Bay Tennis Center prides itself in being a facility that is constantly introducing tennis to new players who have never even held a racket before. We also strive to pull players of all levels who might need to dust off there rackets and spend some time relearning the basics. We specialize in group clinics for 4 or more players who need some intense basic instruction and need to regain their confidence in their form. One special benefit to South Bay Tennis Center programming is that we provide all the necessary equipment including the rackets.  So if you want to come out and learn how to play from scratch all you have to do is show up! Our beginner classes are Tuesdays from 7pm to 8pm!

South Bay Tennis Center is continually having Adult Social Round Robin events. These events usually concur with monthly holidays and are almost always held on Fridays from 6-8pm. Some of the past Round Robin events that we have had include an annual Halloween Dress-Up event where players are paired with different partners after 8 games, and turn in their scores after each rotation to try and win the First or Second Place prizes. The Fourth of July Round Robin consisted of teen bump-up competiton where players were placed on teams and competed to move up the ladder to try and get to the top court. These events are advertised on line, or feel free to call director, Courtney Hance to find out when the next Friday night Round Robin Social is being hosted.
